Matt Friesen

Matt Friesen, is our Sports Director. A graduate of the Western Academy of Broadcasting College in Saskatoon, Matt joined the Golden West Radio news team in February 2003. He enjoys all aspects of life, especially cheering his heart out for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Matt's also a perennially disappointed Toronto Maple Leafs fan. When Matt isn't spending time at the rink as the voice of the Winkler Flyers, he enjoys family time with his wife Patti and their children Hannah and Jackson.
